October 31, 2020 By 4 Comments
The 45th Annual Elgin Catfish Stomp Parade and Food Festival, sponsored by the Elgin Police Department Toys Roundup and Caring Hands Foundation, will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the Town of Elgin.
This year the event will look a little different due to precautionary measures being taken for COVID. Face coverings are highly encouraged, in addition to social distancing when possible.
The parade will start at 10:00 am at the corner of Bowen Street/Main Street and will proceed down Main Street to Potter Community Park (corner of Main Street/Green Hill Road).
This year’s event will only include Food Trucks and our famous Catfish Stew and Fried Fish (served under the picnic shelter). We will have face-to-face and drive-thru service available.
Forms can be found on the town’s website at www.townofelginsc.com under the “FORMS” tab and/or can be picked up at Town Hall.
